In response to the call by the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association (TTMA) for donations to help Bahamas in its recovery from Hurricane Dorian, National Flour Mills Limited (NFM) has contributed ten thousand dollars to assist with the purchase of priority items such as medical supplies, hygiene kits and ready-to-eat foods. This initial contribution was given in consideration of the immediate needs of Bahamian citizens adversely affected by Hurricane Dorian. NFM also plans to donate some of its manufactured products at a later date. Organizations throughout the region are rallying together to help with donations of goods and services, and the TTMA is playing its part by coordinating the receipt of contributions from its members for shipment to the affected country.
