National Flour Mills Mother’s Day Trivia Challenge

CONTEST

1. National Flour Mills (NFM) will be hosting a Mother’s Day Trivia between the 22^nd April and 5^th May, 2021.
2. The trivia will be hosted on NFM’s official Facebook page.
3. Trivia questions will be related to NFM’s Good n Natural Cracked Wheat Flour.
4. Two (2) questions will be asked. Each question will be posted on NFM’s official Facebook page at approximately 10am (GMT-4) on the following dates:
   • Trivia Question One: 22nd April, 2021
   • Trivia Question Two: 29th April, 2021
5. Each winner will receive one (1) Gift Hamper – filled with baking and cooking products courtesy National Flour Mills.
6. This promotion is only available to all fans of NFM’s official Facebook page, currently residing in Trinidad and Tobago.
7. Employees of NFM, affiliate agencies and their immediate family are not eligible to enter this competition.

SELECTION OF WINNERS

1. A total of six (6) winners will be randomly selected throughout the period of this promotion; three (3) winners for each of the two (2) trivia questions. Each winner will receive one (1) Gift Hamper – filled with baking and cooking products courtesy National Flour Mills.
2. All valid and correct responses to each question will be collated from Facebook into a pool of qualified repsonses.
3. The three (3) winners of each respective question will be randomly selected from the pool of qualified responses and published on or before 4pm (GMT -4) on NFM’s official Facebook page on the following dates:
   • Trivia Question One Winners: 28th April, 2021
   • Trivia Question Two Winners: 5th May, 2021
4. Each winner will have two (2) business days following the announcement of winners to contact NFM to confirm his or her identity and acceptance of the prize. If a winner is unable to do so within this period, another winner will be selected from the pool of qualified responses.
5. NFM or its agency will inform the winners of the process, date and time of collecting prizes.
6. By participating in this promotion, participants give their permission to National Flour Mills to share their Facebook page name on the winners’ posts.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. A participant must have an active Facebook account to which he or she owns.
2. A participant must submit his or her answer in the comments section under each relevant question posted on NFM’s official Facebook page.
3. A participant can only answer once to each trivia question.
4. Each participant must include in his or her response the hashtags #nfm #goodnnatural
5. Submissions for the trivia questions will be closed at 11pm (GMT-4) on the dates:
   • Trivia Question One: 27th April, 2021
   • Trivia Question Two: 4th May, 2021
6. Winners of Trivia Question One will become ineligible to participate in Trivia Question Two.
7. Participants acknowledge that compliance with the Rules set out above including all eligibility requirements is a necessary pre-condition to any prizes in the National Flour Mills Mother’s Day Trivia Challenge being awarded to them. For removal of all doubt, competitors who have not complied with these Rules are subject to disqualification.
8. National Flour Mills reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend the National Flour Mills Mother’s Day Trivia Challenge at any time, if fraud, technical failures, including any network server or hardware failure, viruses, bugs, errors in programming, or any other errors or other causes beyond the control of National Flour Mills corrupt the administration, security, integrity or proper running of the competition. In such cases National Flour Mills will inform competitors of such cancellation, modifications or suspensions of the National Flour Mills Mother’s Day Trivia Challenge via notifications by electronic mail or on their official Facebook fan page/profile.
9. National Flour Mills does not warrant that access to or use of any third party’s website will be uninterrupted or free of any of the events stated below, due to the nature of internet services and electronic communications. National Flour Mills is not responsible for any problems that may arise, including but not limited to:

• • Lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, or other connection, availability or accessibility problems arising in connection with or over the course of the competition.
  • Communications failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions or hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or
  • Failure of personal computers and/or software and hardware configurations, any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in the offering or announcement of the prizes or in the prize notification; or
  • For any errors of any kind in connection with the promotion, whether human, mechanical, clerical, electronic, or technical in nature; or
  • The incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information in connection with the promotion; or
  • Any of the above arising from the actions or omissions of any third parties in relation to any aspect of the National Flour Mills Baked with Love competition or the usage of any third party websites which are not under the control or operated fully by National Flour Mills.

10. Any attempt by a competition ant or other individual to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the National Flour Mills Mother’s Day Trivia Challenge, including but not limited to any fraudulent claims, may be a violation of criminal and/or civil laws of Trinidad and Tobago.
11. Should such an attempt be made, National Flour Mills reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such individual, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
12. Participants engaging in any of the foregoing activities in (10) and (11) may be disqualified and will forfeit any prizes won. In no event will National Flour Mills be liable for more than the relevant prizes available in the National Flour Mills Mother’s Day Trivia Challenge.
13. In the event of any conflict with any promotion details contained in these Rules and Conditions and promotion details contained in point of sale, television and print, advertising, promotional packaging and other promotional media, (“Promotional Materials”) the details of the promotion set forth in these Rules and Conditions shall prevail.
14. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules and Conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Rules and Conditions shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. National Flour Mills employees are not authorized to waive, modify or amend any provision or provisions of these Rules and Conditions in any manner whatsoever.
15. All Participants agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by National Flour Mills and consent to the use and disclosure by National Flour Mills in any form of media of their names, likenesses and/or general areas of residence without compensation or further reference.
