“Mom takes the Cake”

Contest Rules

By participating in the “Mom takes the Cake” Contest, participants agree to and accept the following Terms & Conditions:

1. All amateur and professional cake bakers are invited to bake and share a photo or video of their most creative KFC themed cake on their personal facebook page or Instagram profile, to spread the love for Moms. All entries must include a few words on why Mom is so special
2. Participants will be required to tag either KFC or NFM’s official facebook page or Instagram profile in their post and use the hashtags #momtakesthecake #kfc #ibisflour. They also need to ensure that their post containing their photo or video is open to the public
3. Participants can enter as many times as they like, but will only be eligible to win once
4. All participants will be required to provide proof that the cake being submitted is an original design/creation. Entries will not be valid if they are someone else’s work or plagiarized material
5. The “Mom takes the Cake” contest will begin on Tuesday 4^th May, 2021 from midnight (GMT – 4) and end on Sunday 9^th May, 2021 at midnight (GMT -4)
6. KFC and NFM will republish all photo and video entries in a branded contest frame on their respective Facebook pages and tag each entrant. KFC’s facebook URL is https://facebook.com/kfctt and NFM is https://facebook.com/nationalflourmills
7. A panel of judges will score each entry based on its Creativity, Complexity and Individuality to determine a 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Place Winner
8. The winners will be announced on the Facebook and Instagram pages/profiles of National Flour Mills and KFC on Monday 10^th May, 2021 on before midnight.
9. Prizes:
   1^st Place Winner
   • KFC Vouchers valued at TT$3,000.00
   • 600 Colonel’s Club Points to be redeemed on the KFC App
   • A NFM Gift Hamper filled with NFM products such as oil, baking flour and other goodies

   2^nd Place Winner

   • KFC Vouchers valued at TT$2,000.00
   • 300 Colonel’s Club Points to be redeemed on the KFC App
   • A NFM Gift Hamper filled with NFM products such as oil, baking flour and other goodies

   3^rd Place Winner

   • KFC Vouchers valued at TT$1,000.00
   • 200 Colonel’s Club Points to be redeemed on the KFC App
   • A NFM Gift Hamper filled with NFM products such as oil, baking flour and other goodies

9. Prestige Holdings Limited (KFC) and National Flours Mills Limited (NFM) and/or its advertising agency will inform the winners of the date and time they can collect their prizes based on their availability and their providing KFC or NFM with their contact information within 48 hours of being selected or the winners being announced
10. Prestige Holdings Limited (KFC), National Flour Mills Limited (NFM) and its advertising agency shall not be responsible for internet or Wi-Fi connection errors that might occur during this contest
11. Prestige Holdings Limited (KFC), National Flour Mills Limited (NFM) reserves all rights in the management of the Mom takes the Cake Contest
12. This promotion is for all KFC (TT) and National Flour Mills Facebook & Instagram followers that reside in Trinidad and Tobago

Conditions of Entry:

• • Contestants acknowledge that compliance with the Rules set out above including all eligibility requirements is a necessary pre-condition to any prizes in the Mom takes the Cake Contest being awarded to them. For removal of all doubt, contestants who have not complied with these Rules are subject to disqualification
  • Prestige Holdings Limited (KFC) and National Flours Mills Limited (NFM) reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend the Mom takes the Cake Contest at any time, if fraud, technical failures, including any network server or hardware failure, viruses, bugs, errors in programming, or any other errors or other causes beyond the control of KFC and NFM or corrupt the administration, security, integrity or proper running of the contest. In such cases KFC and NFM will inform contestants of such cancellation, modifications or suspensions of the Mom takes the Cake contest via notifications by electronic mail or on the Facebook page

13. Prestige Holdings Limited (KFC) and National Flours Mills Limited (NFM) does not warrant that access to or use of any third party’s website will be uninterrupted or free of any of the events stated below, due to the nature of internet services and electronic communications. KFC and NFM are not responsible for any problems that may arise, including but not limited to:

• • lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, or other connection, availability or accessibility problems arising in connection with or over the course of the contest; or
  • communications failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions or hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or
  • failure of personal computers and/or software and hardware configurations, any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in the offering or announcement of the prizes or in the prize notification; or
  • for any errors of any kind in connection with the promotion, whether human, mechanical, clerical, electronic, or technical in nature; or
  • the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information in connection with the promotion; or
  • any of the above arising from the actions or omissions of any third parties in relation to any aspect of the Mom takes the Cake Contest or the usage of any third-party websites which are not under the control or operated fully by KFC and NFM

14. Any attempt by a contestant or other individual to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Mom takes the Cake Contest, including but not limited to any fraudulent claims, may be a violation of criminal and/or civil laws in the countries where the promotion is being run. Should such an attempt be made, KFC and NFM reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such individual, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution and participants engaging in any of the foregoing activities may be disqualified and will forfeit any prizes won
15. In no event will KFC and NFM be liable for more than the relevant prizes available under the Mom takes the Cake contest. In the event of any conflict with any promotion details contained in these Rules and Conditions and promotion details contained in point of sale, television and print, advertising, promotional packaging and other promotional media, (“Promotional Materials”) the details of the promotion set forth in these Rules and Conditions shall prevail
16. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules and Conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Rules and Conditions shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. KFC and NFM employees are not authorized to waive, modify or amend any provision or provisions of these Rules and Conditions in any manner whatsoever
17. All participants agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by KFC and NFM and consent to the use and disclosure by KFC and NFM in any form of media of their names, likenesses and/or general areas of residence without compensation or further reference
18. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Contestants understand that they are providing their information to KFC and NFM via Facebook and not to these platforms. The information they provide will only be used for communicating with contestants and awarding them with the prize that they may win
19. KFC and NFM reserves all rights in the management of the Mom takes the Cake contest and can cancel/end the contest at anytime
