National Flour Mills Limited (NFM) has awarded two advanced level scholarships for the 2018/2019 academic year. The presentation ceremony was held on February 5, 2019 at the company’s Head Office to formally congratulate the recipients Joshua Maharaj and Arella Cyrus. Joshua is currently enrolled at the Students Accountancy Centre pursuing the ACCA Certification, while Arella Cyrus is a student at the UTT John Donaldson Campus pursuing the National Engineering Technician Diploma (NETD) in Civil Engineering.
NFM’s Advanced Scholarship Programme (ASP) was initiated to support employees seeking opportunities to fund the professional development of their children. Each year full-time NFM employees with at least 3 years’ service are invited to apply together with their dependents. Partial scholarships for tertiary education are available under three categories: vocational/ technical/associate, undergraduate and graduate.
