Training focus on Feed Formulation and Feed Production

A team of seven National Flour Mills Limited (NFM) employees participated in thefeed formulation and production training workshop hosted by the United States SoybeanExport Council (USSEC) at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, POS, from May 1-2, 2018.The workshop, titled “Feed Formulation Base on the Quality of Ingredients – theExceptional Composition of U.S. Soy”, was one of several training opportunities offered by USSEC as it seeks to optimize the utilization and value of U.S. soy in international markets. Together with other regional participants, the NFM team received valuable insight into key areas such as quality control, mixing technology, operations and good manufacturing practices for feed products.NFM imports an average of 7,000 tons of soybean meal from the U.S. annually to manufacture animal feed products. NFM is committed to increasing its production efficiency and regards the training and development of employees as an integral part of product quality assurance.
