NFM Welcomes Curacao’s Agricultural Cooperative Association

Curaçao’s Agricultural Cooperative Association Visits NFM

MARCH 27, 2026: National Flour Mills Limited (NFM) hosted the Agrarische Kooperative Vereniging (AKV) [Agricultural Cooperative Association of Curaçao] for a tour of its feed manufacturing plant on March 27, 2026.

Visiting from the AKV were Directors Saneleo Thomas de Sales Petronella, Farah Marie Daal and Jose Gregorio Porfirio Middelhof, who came to better understand NFM’s feed supply capabilities.

Feed Production Manager Kevin Thorne led the tour, which entailed viewing the production, packaging, and warehousing components of the facility. The AKV representatives also received an overview of NFM’s quality control systems for manufacturing feed products. Mr. Thorne underscored that sustainable animal production largely depends on the processing capability of feed producers and assured that NFM could meet its membership’s growing demand for poultry and livestock feeds.

NFM is ramping up efforts to explore business development opportunities at home and abroad, collaborating with clients to solidify business relationships. Mr. Middelhof echoed similar sentiments and reaffirmed AKV’s intent to educate its members on the wide range of high-quality feed products supplied by NFM.
